From an early age music has been a large part of Matt’s life and he has been playing professionally for over 20 years. Matt was seven years old when he received his first guitar and he never looked back. In high school Matt formed his first of many bands and has since played a variety of musical styles including Folk, Rock, R&B, Classical, Funk, Jazz and beyond! Thanks to this early start and supportive atmosphere, Matt grew to become a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, drums, mandolin, bass, ukulele, keyboard and percussion instruments, as well as a singer-songwriter, arranger and composer. Currently Matt is studying music recording and mixing. With many years of teaching experience behind him, Matt is excited to join the Music Spot team.
